Kalpataru Projects Secures Orders Worth Rs 2,071 Crore, Including Metro Tunnel Project

Kalpataru Projects International Ltd (KPIL), an engineering firm, announced on Thursday that it, along with its subsidiaries, has secured orders totaling Rs 2,071 crore for power transmission and distribution projects, as well as the construction of an underground metro rail tunnel.

KPIL is a leading specialized Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) company involved in various sectors including power transmission and distribution, railways, highways, and airports.

The statement released by KPIL outlined that the company, along with its joint ventures (JVs) and international subsidiaries, has secured new orders amounting to Rs 2,071 crore. These orders include projects in the transmission & distribution (T&D) sector in overseas markets, along with an order for the design and construction of an underground metro rail project within India.

Manish Mohnot, Managing Director & CEO of Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL), emphasized the significance of these orders, stating that they provide considerable growth prospects for the company’s T&D and urban infrastructure business segments.

He further mentioned that KPIL’s order intake for the current financial year has reached a record high of Rs 30,000 crore, which includes substantial orders in T&D, Building & Factories, Oil & Gas, and urban infrastructure sectors. Mohnot attributed this achievement to the company’s focused efforts over the years to expand its presence in high-growth EPC markets, foster strong client relationships, and leverage its technical and execution capabilities.

Mohnot expressed confidence in the company’s ability to sustain growth momentum, citing its robust order book position and established execution capabilities.

KPIL is presently engaged in projects across more than 30 countries and has established a global presence in over 70 countries.
