DLF Ltd, India’s premier listed real estate company, announced the astounding success of its latest luxury housing project, DLF Privana South in Gurugram, with a remarkable sellout of all 1,113 high-end residential units within a mere 72 hours before its official launch. The sales generated an impressive ₹7,200 crore, underscoring the robust demand for upscale living spaces crafted by DLF.
Following the 2023 launch of The Arbour, a high-rise luxury housing project that witnessed pre-formal launch sales exceeding ₹8,000 crore, DLF Privana South continues the trend of swift and unparalleled success. Comprising seven towers, the project includes 14 penthouses and the remaining units are 4 BHK apartments, all set within a larger development sprawling across approximately 116 acres in Sectors 76 and 77.
Each opulent apartment boasts a spacious 3,500 square feet and offers panoramic views of the lush Aravalli Range, situated in proximity to the upcoming 10,000-acre Safari Park. Aakash Ohri, Joint Managing Director and Chief Business Officer at DLF Home Developers Ltd, highlighted the unique approach taken to discourage bulk bookings. Each buyer was limited to one unit, with 25% of sales attributed to Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). The booking amount, set at ₹50 lakh, notably exceeds the industry standard of ₹10 lakh.
Positioned strategically near the convergence of Southern Peripheral Road, NH-48, NPR (Dwarka Expressway), and CPR, DLF Privana South offers swift accessibility to key city hubs. Surrounded by well-developed infrastructure, including offices, schools, 5-star hotels, and golf courses, the project caters to a discerning clientele seeking both luxury and convenience.
Aakash Ohri, in an interview with PTI, revealed that the company received expressions of interest from around 4,600 customers, reflecting the widespread appeal of DLF’s offerings. The selling price, set at ₹18,000 per square foot, underscores the premium nature of the project. Ohri confirmed that construction on this expansive 4 million square feet development is slated to commence within the next 4-5 months, marking the next phase of DLF’s commitment to delivering unparalleled living experiences.
