EaseMyTrip Co-founder Rikant Pitti Acquires Rs 100 Crore Commercial Property in Gurugram

Rikant Pitti, the Co-founder of EaseMyTrip, has successfully acquired a commercial property in Gurugram, estimated to be worth around Rs 99.34 crore. According to real estate data analytics firm CRE Matrix, the sale deed for this property was finalized on November 24, 2023. Pitti formalized the transaction by paying a stamp duty of Rs 6.95 crore.

Situated strategically in Gurugram’s Sector 32, near Rajiv Chowk, the newly acquired commercial property spans an extensive 4,050 square meters. Rikant Pitti, known for adding a Lamborghini Urus Perfomante to his collection last year, proudly declared himself as the first owner of this high-end SUV in India. This recent acquisition of commercial property adds another significant milestone to Pitti’s diverse portfolio.

In a similar move, Rajesh Magow, the CEO of MakeMyTrip group, made headlines in the previous year by purchasing a lavish 6,428 square feet apartment in DLF Magnolias, commanding a substantial Rs 33 crore, as reported by IANS.

These developments come amid recent actions taken by EaseMyTrip, headquartered in the national capital, to suspend all flight bookings to the Maldives. This decision was made in response to derogatory comments made by now-suspended ministers against India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The comments were triggered by the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Lakshadweep.

Established in 2008, EaseMyTrip, founded by Nishant Pitti, Rikant Pitti, and Prashant Pitti, has consistently been a key player in the travel industry. Rikant Pitti’s latest venture into real estate stands as a notable chapter in his entrepreneurial journey.
