On September 17, 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially opened the initial phase of the India International Convention Centre, known as YashoBhoomi. Spanning a massive area of over 8.9 lakh square meters, YashoBhoomi has now become one of the largest MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) destinations globally.
Delhi Metro connectivity to YashoBhoomi
Today, after the inauguration of the new metro station at Dwarka Sector 25, YashoBhoomi will be directly connected to the Delhi Airport Metro Express line. In addition to this, the Prime Minister also unveiled the extension of the Delhi Airport Metro Express line, which now reaches a new metro station named ‘Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25.’
This development includes an enhancement in the operational speed of Metro trains on the Airport Express Line, increasing it from 90 to 120 km/hr. This improvement will significantly reduce travel time. The entire journey from ‘New Delhi’ to ‘Yashobhoomi Dwarka Sector 25’ is now estimated to take approximately 21 minutes.
